Sultana Weave Lamp
This is a lamp; can be converted into a table made using the Sultana Weaving Technique, a technique founded in rural Rajasthan and is still merely observed in remote areas of the state.
I made this table/lamp on having been asked to make a lifestyle accessory product. The process involves cutting wire (8 guage), turning it into measured circles using a pulley and hammer, followed by the welding of the structure and then starting the weaving using jute rope and copper wire for binding.
