SADDLE-CANE STOOL
This stool is a part of a larger project; the Pre-Thesis for which I devised an Ergonomic Kitchen Solution that is portable and ideal for migrant Construction Workers of our country.
This is an Ergonomic Sitting Solution that has many advantages and benefits:
- The saddle shape that helps shift weight to the legs and reduces hip pain
- The height is apt (though lower than average) but is fit for construction workers and their wives who generally squat to cook
- The cane mesh seat will help in better circulation while giving comfort and retaining posture
All the above design solutions were brought to action keeping in mind the needs of the user base and the feasibility in terms of economics and ergonomics.
